We loved the Shanghai-La! The staff was wonderful, the rooms are clean and large , great location - a few minutes walk to the Esplanade!

Very tired but clean room. The view was excellent and the size of the room was good. Breakfast was quite basic but tasty. I approached a staff member during breakfast for a couple of extra serviettes and her response was " well you could have gotten them from over there" as she pointed to the desk at the entrance to the restaurant. To be fair I had searched everywhere else prior to asking. I advised her I would certainly do as she suggested and got them myself. She did then approach me later with some extra serviettes but to be honest I was pretty disgusted at her attitude. Both check in and check out was very quick and easy and the staff at the front desk polite and efficient.

Excellent accommodation — clean, tidy, and the amenities are very good. The only point to note was the bed. I booked a king bed, but it was actually two single beds pushed together, which was uncomfortable for a couple due to the large gap between the mattresses.

I loved my stay at Novotel it was in an ideal position close to everything I needed the staff so lovely and helpful breakfast was great, and they surprised me with a bottle of wine and cake fir my birthday , such a thoughtful gesture thank you George

Very outdated rooms . Could do with renovations.
