We read the reviews and expected the rooms and main areas to be a little run down. Our check in was quick and the person was friendly. We were told to drive around back to park and use that door to enter closer to our room. We noticed that the door was broken and didn't lock but we ignored it and continued to our room. The room was clean and furniture was decent. We heard outside noise and loud voices and wonder why it sounded like they were in our room. When we looked out the sliding door to the balcony we noticed that handle and locking mechanism were missing completely and someone shoved a facecloth in the 6 inch hole to block out the cold. The door still opened when pushed on so it didn't make use feel super safe. But since we were staying on the 3rd floor we figured the balcony wasn't easily accesisible so we should be okay. The breakfast choices were either toast or cereal with watered down juice. Checkout was easy as it was done online. I wouldn't recommend staying here again until they renovate or at least fix the safety issues.

Rugs in the bedroom were torn and very unclean. Bathroom tiles were broken. When asked the staff, they were saying that you should have known this property is outdated and you cannot expect quality. That sounded like rude. But the price is high and provided cheap service. For breakfast, it’s just milk and bread. They should remove continental from breakfast. Worst experience.

We got a suite with a jet tub but it tub was not cleaned well, it was slimy when getting in. There were bugs in the ice bucket, the bed was very uncomfortable and there were cigarette butts in the ashtray when we arrived. I would however stay again but in the summer next time since there is no indoor pool which was disappointing

Nice but sketchy!

Bed was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, toast, bananas , apples, cereal, coffee, yogurt. We heated our eggs in microwave and that was awesome. We parked around back that seemed sketchy. Lights were burned out in parking lot. It is like an old state of the art place run into the ground and now someone is attempting to revive it. Great price but I would not stay again. I was uncomfortable with the darkness of the entryways.

The hotel property needs a lot of work. It’s very old. Even the steps coming in kind of falling apart, it’s not kept up in things The poor maintenance guy is so overworked that he even has to work helping and do the breakfast in the morning for the napkins and making sure this coffee

The building is a bit out of date and needs work in alot of places. First impression when I got to the hotel was not too good, the steps leading to the front entrance are cracked with pieces of cement coming off and in need of a good paint job. The handicap entrance is quite a distance away from the main lobby entrance. The room was a good size but dark, very few lights and was hard to work at the desk. The bathroom was fairly clean but was not cleaned well after a recent ceiling repair over the shower. Still paint stains on the floor and wall. The free breakfast should not even be called a breakfast, more like a snack. Nothing warm other than the toast you prepare. No jam for the toast but they did have peanut butter but one of the packets I had tasted very stale. The juices were very diluted with very little flavor. The hot beverage selection was coffee, never noticed hot water for tea or a decaf selection. The staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. I may stay here again but the price would have to drop considerably.
