When you look beyond Hotel being dated with carpet, the important things like fresh, clean, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, incredibly friendly & helpful Staff at check in, obliging cleaning staff, Restaurant Staff & location make for a great stay! We enjoyed the restaurant and the area was very convenient but the walls in the rooms were very thin and we could hear every little thing in the rooms around us.

Accommodations were very close as we got off the ferry and although at check in the power was out the staff were great and check in went a smooth as they could manage and they had flash lights ready for guests. Power came back on and we were able to have a lovely and good dinner in the dining room. The staff made it an enjoyable stay.

There was no air circulation or air conditioning in the room it was very hot and uncomfortable. The beds were very uncomfortable and there was a blood stain on one of the pillows. There was only one waitress to serve all of the morning meal which was disorganized and served cold. Coffee was served but cream and milk didn’t show up for 2minutes. The waitress was ran off her feet and seemed to have no support.

Staff at property were not overly inviting or friendly. Had a drink in pub and had to wait 5 mins before anyone even noticed us The room was the smallest room we have ever seen- obviously an old room-2 double beds that touched the walls and a small space between the beds Room was clean
