Limited lighting, one working accessible power outlet, door had previously been broken into with a crowbar and we had to tighten the knob back on with a screwdriver, lace see-through curtain in the bathroom, bed with broken springs, broken microwave in the room, refrigerator worked but the light was burned out, two half-rolla of toilet paper in the room, a coffee maker with nowhere to plug it in, a 2x4 with foam glued onto the end attached to the floor to stop the door hitting the oven (we didn't try the oven to see if it worked), cleaning staff used grocery store shopping carts to tote cleaning supplies around.

A typical motel/inn very close to the airport. The staff was very helpful in recommending local restaurants and provided daily room services, which I did not expect for a motel/inn owing to shortage of service staff. The room is reasonably clean and the breakfast was beyond basic continental.

We were pleasantly surprised that the complimentary breakfast was a full hot and cold breakfast. It included cereal, toast, fruit, ham and eggs with hash browns, tea, coffee and juice. This really makes the Sherwood excellent value for your money. The rooms are dated but clean and the beds were comfortable. We would stay again.

Great place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay at the Sherwood Inn. The room was quite large and the breakfast provided was excellent. It was a great central location to vacation on PEI. We would return in a heartbeat.

Staff initially gave us key to an occupied room. Mattress was pretty firm which was too firm for me. Nice Breakfast included hot ham, fresh scrambled eggs, potatoes, fruit & more. Wished laundry machine was not broken but they are expecting a repair soon.

The room was clean. I was surprised to see a hot plate, pot, dishes, etc in the room with a mini fridge and microwave. Much appreciated. The staff were helpful and very willing to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was on time and had lots of variety. One complaint was the pillows were flat and very hard.

The room is spacious with the kitchenette. It has everything that was listed. Unfortunately the air conditioner is in a window with no curtain above it. Either you close the curtain for privacy and have no air conditioner or leave the curtain open and have no privacy and I imagine the sunlight will wake me in the morning. This lodging is fine for the night.

We liked their breakfast selection but didn't like having the owner watch our every move while we served ourselves and sat to eat our meal. There was no hot tub or sun room. They rent rooms for people that live there all the time and they seem to have no respect for vacationers. Particularly the guy who was next to our room who was constantly in and out of his room slamming his door open and close Smoking constantly outside so we could not enjoy sitting outside without breathing in his smoke.

It was ok needs some updates. The breakfast consisted of eggs, ham and fries. Cold cereals and watermelon. The eggs were very good not powdered. Dropped a bag clip behind stove and it was disgusting behind the stove. Left bag clip there not worth it. Other than that it was ok for a night.

My requirements are simple, clean sheets, clean bathroom. This place had everything I required. Free Continental breakfast was a bonus, price point was more than good, all staff were welcoming and accommodating. I had a late flight and not only did staff let me leave my luggage for the afternoon but also drove me to the Airport!!
