The stay itself was nice, and once we were checked in, the overall appearance of the property and the customer service were acceptable. The room looked nice as well, housekeeping came around often asking us if we needed anything. The people were great! However, the check-in process was unnecessarily complicated due to the involvement of third-party services, which caused confusion and delays right from the start. The biggest issue was the hidden fees that were never clearly disclosed in the stay description or explained during booking or check-in. What initially appeared to be an $800 stay nearly doubled once all the additional charges were added. We were charged for multiple unnecessary items and services, including being charged just to watch TV, which is unreasonable and not something you expect when booking a room. These extra charges felt excessive, misleading, and poorly communicated. At no point were we properly informed or given a clear breakdown of what these fees were for or why they were mandatory. This lack of transparency made the experience frustrating and stressful, as we constantly felt like we were being nickel-and-dimed. While the room itself was fine, the value was completely overshadowed by the unexpected costs. Because of the hidden fees and poor communication, the stay was not worth the price we ended up being charged. I would not recommend staying here unless all fees are clearly disclosed upfront and explained in advance.
