Elevator was down during our stay. Bathroom door would not close. Poor seating in the room, a cheap office chair just does not cut it. Best view of the tv was while seating on the toilet. No microwave or mini frig. in room.

It's a well established spot on the TCH midway across Newfoundland. There are additional amenities nearby. They let me do my laundry before checking in. Staff in front, restaurant, and lounge were great to me.

The room wasn’t to a high level standard. Couples room with queen bed. Bathroom had old petal sink. Wife had to lay hair dryer and personal affects on bed to use in bathroom. Tv was over in front of bathroom door instead of bed. Faded spot on wall where picture once was. When said it to front desk was told because we booked on line

Dining room staff were unorganized and the 3 servers couldn't handle 6 tables. At breakfast we were seated but after waitubg 10 minutes for someone to come over to our table with menus, we left.

Highly recommend this hotel. The staff are amazing, knowledgeable, and so welcoming. We loved our stay in Gander and how dog friendly the accomodations were. We would stay here again!

Never stay at Albatross hotel. The bathtub was clogged while showering, the room had dust , the shampoo tube suplied was empty. The paid breakfast was not good...potatoes were burnt...the 3 egg omelet was more like 2 eggs. When I complaineed abour the room to the receptionist at check out , instead if apologising she said the maids are very busy as it is peak season.. What an answer!!!! Paid 262 dollars for one night at this crappy hotel. Supposedly its a 3.5 star hotel...worth not even a single star. The property is old and dilapidated.
