This could be a wonderful accommodation to stay at with proper upkeep in terms of cleanliness and replacing broken appliances and furniture. Unfortunately was unable to reach the front desk at time of concerns and time of check out, as a sign was posted in the lobby that no staff were available to check out guests.
Definitely not close to the lake as advertised. When we asked how to get there, the front desk said it's a 20 minute walk through the woods or 10 minutes down the road.
Rooms were very poorly renovated with holes in the vanity's where taps should be and towel bars in weird places. Definitely a lipstick reno. The bed was comfy but that was probably the only perk.
The room was clean and large. But the air conditioner was broken and the staff installed a fan in the room. The fan did not help with the warm conditions. The clerk gave us $15.00 off the price of the room. In hindsight I would have refused the room, we did not sleep well without the air conditioner. The plug in the bathtub was broken. In order to have a bath we had to stuff a cloth in the drain. The restaurant was 8 kl.. away but the staff there were excellent.
Comfortable stay, nice helpful staff, good facilities, and great breakfast. Private beach? - I think not.
Overall a very nice place to stay.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The "private beach" that was advertised did not exist like in the photos. It was all grown over and inaccesible. The back yard area was pretty as in the photos, but to get to the beach it was a walk down to a pu lic park. The breakfast buffet was at a golf coirse 7 min down the road. Dexent enough food, but very inconvenient to have to drive there as it was the opposite way down the highway that we were planning to travel that morning. The unit was clean, but we needed a can opener and the one they supplied was nearly useless and when we asked for a new one they could not provide one. The staff were friendly. All in all, it was not was we felt was adverised when we booked. I really hate leaving a negative review, but in the situation, we really felt it was dissapointing inaccuracies in the advertosing. I should include that they DID UPGRAFE us to better /bigger room than we'd originally booked, so that was kind. I feel like maybe they were new owners and needed to do a lot of repairs/maintenance.
I have pictures of faulty wiring , fixed with duck tape and Tupperware containers.
Not as Advertised close to beach .
We were told its closed due to "construction"
I went down anyways, it looks like it has not been worked on for Years. Outdoor furniture just rotting on the beach.
front desk clerk very unhelpful. very sarcastic tone when we asked about the town and the sites. went to the bathroom blood under sink ,hair and dust of many ,many days on heaters behind door, So gross
i have photos if your interested,

It’s a misleading information. No private beach or access to the beach from the hotel. No privacy at all when open the back door or window curtain.
It’s Ok to stay one night.
The room was pretty nice although the floor was dirty (needed to be swept). We didn’t like the fact that guests could wander by our patio door on the deck. Restaurant was a 10 minute drive down the highway at the golf course so we didn’t bother partaking in the ‘free breakfast’. Internet was
An ice bucket would better than flowery scented garbage bag. The free breakfast was a ways away, okay, not the best. The coffee maker in the room was a disaster, and the tv..we never did get it to work..Nice job on the Renos,
This was a last minute booking as we were on our way back to Vancouver from jasper and wanted to visit Wells Park the next day. So glad we stayed the night. The room was surprisingly modern and nicely renovated. If we do the drive again we’re definitely going to stay here again!
