I stayed at Livingston Resort for 2 nights. I had originally booked a no-pet room, but upon check-in I requested a ground-floor room since the other party in my group was staying there. I specifically asked the front desk if the room is no pet . She said yes . Next day i have rashes on all my body.

The staff were all really nice. Definitely coming back. Could have been a 5 star overall but we came on a time where everything’s getting pretty much renovated so it might be a 5 star when we come back.

While the property is under construction for the retirement residence next door which is understandable if inconvenient, it appears the rooms haven't been updated in some time. Standard hotel room layout, but it seems most amenities seem run down. No place to hand towel in the bathroom except a hook on the back door and very little sidewalk access outside for a place trying to lure in tourists.

The room was nice, staff were very friendly and helpful. However, much of the hotel was under construction and felt unfinished. The pool had a very loud fan that made it difficult to hear each other speak. Also, the restaurant and slide for kids were all at the other location, which I didn't realize until we got there.

They checked me in and directed me to a room that had not be cleaned from previous clients. Rooms are not cleaned unless your stay is for over 14 days as per hotel policy.

Everything was good, except the air conditioning unit was a bit loud, but overall was a good stay, we had a room to the back, so street noise was not a problem, room was clean, bed was comfortable, the bathroom seem to have heated floors it was so nice.
