Not the cleanest Holiday Inn left

Place was outdated we got a handicapped room which I didn’t ask for. Couldn’t hang any of the clothes. Tub faucet was coming undone. Room wasn’t very clean. Pillows had a smell.

We checked in on Sunday around 4:45ish. The front desk woman had her toddler and mother there. She had to hand her mother her son to check us in. Ummmm ok. We got checked in and went to check out our room first. We were staying in a double queen suite. It was not impressive. I guess your standard hotel suite. We went downstairs to get our belongings and as we walked through the lobby it smelt. The front desk woman must have changed her son’s diaper. Again ummm ok. We got our stuff from our car and went back to the room. We later came down that evening for dinner and we had to dodge the kid toys to get out. I received an email to rate the check in and I did. The following night we went to a concert and got in late. Tell me why the front desk woman called our room after 11 at night to argue about my review of our check in?! That was very inappropriate of the staff member and the manager should have called me regarding my review. I know our room wasn’t vacuumed because I found 2 pills in different places in the room. The beds were also uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel.
