While there are areas that could use improvement, the overall experience offers good value for money, earning it a solid 7/10.
Positives:
The restaurant at the Inn on the Lake is a standout, serving delicious, high-quality food at reasonable prices with a diverse menu that’s sure to please. The rooms are spacious, providing plenty of room to relax, and there’s an abundance of hot water, which added to the comfort of the stay. For the price, the inn is not too expensive, making it a budget-friendly option for travelers looking for a decent stay without breaking the bank.
Negatives:
That said, the rooms, while spacious, are quite dated and show signs of wear, with old carpeting that could use a refresh. The bathrooms, in particular, feel outdated with older showers and fixtures that could benefit from modernization.
The outdoor areas could use some attention. The decks are in need of repair, and there are limited chairs for guests to enjoy the outdoor space. The tennis court lacks nets and the pool is not heated. There’s also a septic system nearby that occasionally gives off an unpleasant odor when the wind blows, though it’s not a constant issue and doesn’t always disrupt outdoor time.
The location can be noisy due to nearby traffic, and making a left turn out of the parking lot can be tricky because of the busy street.
