staff were excellent , could not be more helpful . Room was so spacious and kept to a high standard ate in restaurant both nights of our stay , viewing other places to eat we found the hotel restaurant much better both decor service and food,many thanks to all the staff , so central. If i had to pick a fault i would have to make it up (which i won’t) The parking was first rate , we got parked no bother however beware it’s first come first servered. Many thanks to all the staff.

Clean,spacious room.comfortable bed.Had the dinner and breakfast and both were excellent.staff very helpful.

Lift not working at the moment but they have a porter on standby at the bottom of the stairs to whisk your bags up the flights

The place is amazing. The cleanliness second to none. Lovely staff...all very polite and courteous. Loved our stay and the place is so full of character. Beautiful plasterwork and decorations.

We stayed for one night to attend a concert nearby. I'd booked a while ago and was a little dubious reading some of the recent reviews. The hotel has a great location and is as you'd expect a Victorian seaside hotel to be, a little dated but that's part of the charm. The hotel boasts commanding views over the bay and close to the castle. We had 2 rooms booked, both were spacious, clean and seemed to have new furniture. The staff were lovely. There's minimal parking, but we managed to park nearby. Overall the hotel was ideal.
