The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, the breakfast well set out and good choice of exception food, bed comfortable and beautiful view from window.

The breakfast was simple yet plentiful. Beds were very comfy and the twin rooms were very large.

Clean,spacious room.comfortable bed.Had the dinner and breakfast and both were excellent.staff very helpful.

We stayed for one night to attend a concert nearby. I'd booked a while ago and was a little dubious reading some of the recent reviews. The hotel has a great location and is as you'd expect a Victorian seaside hotel to be, a little dated but that's part of the charm. The hotel boasts commanding views over the bay and close to the castle. We had 2 rooms booked, both were spacious, clean and seemed to have new furniture. The staff were lovely. There's minimal parking, but we managed to park nearby. Overall the hotel was ideal.

Property outdated in some areas including in bedrooms net curtain had holes from wear curtain hanging off rail need a fresh coat of paint in bedroom and some areas of hotel need a clean and a fresh coat of Paint
