Overall a very beautiful hotel and location

Nice building, very friendly staff. 1 bedroom with water view was great, spacious and renovated recently with all the necessary items, recommended .

The Dorsett is vibrant, fresh and clean being only two years old. It forms part of a redevelopment of the very established former Conrad Jupiter's hotel casino. Now The Star Hotel Casino. I would say the new cluster of buildings works on a individual basis. But the the carpark is a mish mash and amalgamation of all the different offerings the overall site represents and it can be overwhelming and confusing to know where to park. It's a free for all. So I feel parking should be allocated to visitors for better control.

Everything I needed for a solo business trip. Great location just a block from the Botanic Gardens so perfect for an early morning walk. Close to Central Station and Queen St shops. Lots of cafes and food options nearby plus a kitchenette if I preferred to stay in. The room was comfortable, immaculately clean and the staff were very helpful.

We had a fantastic trip to Brisbane and a wonderful stay at The Point. Highly recommend 😄😄😄

We stayed in the beach view room and room was nice and clean. On top of that they did everyday house keeping which was great. Hotel was surrounded by lots of dining and entertainment options as well as walking distance to the beach. Loved my one week of stay. Can’t wait to come back again.
