Private log Cabin rental 1 hour west of Edmonton
2 bedroom. One private room with door and the other is a loft. 2 queen beds, wood fired hot tub, woodstove, swimming pond, kayaks, canoe. Outdoor fire pit with games, walking trails and open year round. Ice skating, snow shoeing, pond hockey in the winters.

One of a kind escape, perfect for romantic getaways or bringing the whole family.

Kitchen comes with all cookware, just bring drinks and food/condiments, Also has a barbecue for use.

Sleeps 4, will allow more at $50 per person per night.

Pet friendly $25 per stay, per dog. They MUST stay off the furniture and clean up after them. Mandatory fee, no exceptions.

Check-in is at 3pm, check out is 11am

This is a fantastic property with complete privacy .Love the trails in the forest and the manicured yard with the beautiful man made pond…the water is so clear !Wood fired hot tub is a treat and wonderful views of the stars at night..Chris is a very conscientious host and provides great communication …Burch Forest farm fresh eggs, honey that they obtain from their own beehives , and homemade wine are an excellent “bonus”…“Canadiana “ in its truest form , you can luxuriate in all Bruch Forest has to offer….Always look forward to returning

The cabin and surrounding area is incredible. Chris is an amazing host who makes sure you have everything you need. The kids loved the pond, hottub and fire pit. Make sure you get honey, jam and goodies from the wee stand at the top of the hill. Will definitely be back. Thanks.

We were looking for a quiet, private place to disconnect and relax, and we found the right place. The cabin is comfy, the pond perfect for swimming, and there were lots of opportunities for off-leash walks with our dog. Couldn’t have asked for more!

A slice of heaven. Huge property and very private. The water is like turquoise. The house is crafted with the most beautiful wood. The perfect place to put the electronics away and get away from city life. Love the friendly duck, who we’ve called Gary. Chris is an awesome host, makes sure you have everything you need. Will definitely return next year. Make sure you stop at the butcher shop in Drayton Valley, the best food I've had from one.

It was a beautiful and relaxing stay at a rustic cabin on a lake. I saw deer and moose, was serenaded by the birds, and overall had a wonderful time away. Chris is very communicative and extremely helpful. Will definitely be coming back to enjoy this space again!

Truly Wonderful!!

What an exceptional property to stay at!! Our host was so welcoming & responsive to any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the lovely cabin while my cousin & i had a chill girl's weekend. We enjoyed the family of deer we saw in the morning & one very large moose at the edge of the clearing, plus all the different birds in the area. We were also graced a visit by the local cat. After a long hike on a windy spring day, that hot tub was the best way to warm up and relax.We couldn't have asked for anything more!! I know we will definitely be coming back here.10/10 experience all around!!

What an amazing place to get away!

Chris was super friendly and very communicative throughout our stay. The cabin was warm when we got there and he stocked up the hot tub every day. What an amazing place to get away from TV and internet for a few days. The kids loved it!

This cabin in the woods was exactly what we needed. It was peaceful and relaxing. We loved skating until our heart’s content then warmed up in the hot tub. The cabin was perfect especially with the wood burning fireplace. Chris was an amazing host!

Peaceful private getaway

Really enjoyed our time at the cabin! The surroundings are perfect for relaxing and reconnecting with your loved ones and nature. Thoroughly enjoyed skating on the pond and then warming back up in the hot tub. Evenings spent playing games and reading books by the fire. Looking forward to our next stay here!

Quaint & Peaceful

This was exactly what we needed as a family to reconnect. It was very nostalgic for me as I grew up with on a pond in our yard with a wood stove and hauling wood in the winter. I love the quiet of the winter air and getting away from the noise of the city! It was so wonderful! Chris was a doting host and wanted to make sure our stay was perfect! It felt like home for the 3 nights we were there. I highly recommend experiencing this place for yourself if you love getting away from it all and the outdoors!
