Warmly welcomed
Room was excellent with seating area 255
Coffee, cake, reading material and drinks available in comfortable lounge
Breakfast freshly cooked - excellent choice
3 minutes walk from Aviva stadium
Definitely recommend
We like quaint lovely old buildings with character. Ariel House was just that and more with outstanding staff and breakfast.
The only drawback is the shower which was probably new and had not been tested well. Water leaked from the base. It was a beautiful new bathroom but the water did not drain well because it was too level. It needs a raised edge
To stop the leak.
Otherwise 5 stars!
We had a wonderful experience at Ariel House. It was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and cakes in the drawing room were excellent. Our bathroom had some wear and tear, but I understand that they are in the middle of renovations. So, I'm assuming those things are being addressed, bit by bit. If you want old world charm and a peaceful atmosphere with easy access to Dublin city center, this is a wonderful spot. I would absolutely stay here again.
Travelled with my sisters and our daughters. Staff went out of their way to ensure our rooms were close by and all our needs met, I would definitely recommend and stay there again
This property is very beautiful the location is really great however this hotel is not suitable for older people.
The breakfast service was very terrible as we constantly felt rushed. the hotel was fully booked and we did not get our seat promptly. I absolutely have no issues waiting for a table because I understand that the hotel was fully booked and busy - however as soon as we sat down we felt extremely rushed both days that we ate there.
We asked for clean towels to be set in our room and when we got back the towels that they had replaced were extremely dirty and had brown spots on them . I told front desk about this and I thought they were going to notify the manager but they never did.
We went there with my parents who needed help with their luggage since there are a lot of stairs in this property. The stairs are completely fine and it was in the listing so I completely understood. However when we went to the front desk to ask for assistance for my parents to help them with their luggage the front desk person was sleeping in the lobby - they did not offer to help us at all. This was extremely unprofessional considering that my parents were older, and we had been told the front desk offer is 24 /seven and they did not help us with their luggage at all.
Overall the properties very beautiful but the staff is horrendous. I’ve never the type of person to leave a negative review but this truly blew my mind how terrible the service was.
Very clean and tidy. friendly staff. nice breakfast

Beautiful hotel but needs work
The staff were all excellent, very sweet and helpful. The rooms were very nicely decorated but not very functional at all. The shower especially, is designed very poorly and would be very difficult for anyone who struggles with balance. The light switches are very confusing to coordinate. The air in the room couldn’t be cooled down without an open window and a fan, which a staff member brought up to us. There isn’t an outlet next to a mirror if you need one for drying or curling hair. The only mirror is low, above the desk. And the outlet in the bathroom is only for shavers, which is true of most hotels in Ireland but very inconvenient, in my opinion.
We were a group of three sisters and the space was extremely cramped for us. The only place to put our luggage was on the floor so we were constantly having to step over luggage to get around. We only had one bag each.
The treats in the lobby were a nice touch and the decor was lovely.
This was our first time visiting Ireland and we were looking for a place to stay where we could conveniently visit city center without having to stay downtown. We were very pleased with our stay at Ariel House. It’s in close proximity to a DART train station that was e
I wanted to love the property but found it just okay. They never replenished the tea or tea cups in the common room, they didn’t have wine glasses for the limited wine. The room was warm with no way that I could see to adjust the temperature. I asked for towels and no room cleaning and didn’t receive the towels. The breakfast was delicious and the staff working the breakfast were very friendly and professional. It’s walkable to good restaurants, but I think overall it would benefit from better attention to detail.
We were here for a short stay. The staff were wonderful. They were helpful and kind. They gave us suggestions on how to get around and sights to see. The room was nice with everything we needed. Breakfast was wonderful and a treat to be pampered by the waitstaff. The only suggestion I have is to have a guest laundry available.
Well located, few mins walk to Aviva stadium and bus stop nearby to go into the centre. Nicely decorated lounge with complimentary tea, coffee and cake. Breakfast was ok. Very disappointed not to have been told in advance of work taking place in the property. Woken up at 8.30am to loud crashing and drilling sounds right beside our room. Also unable to avail of free hotel parking as those carrying out the work had large vans parked in the car park.
Very nice staff, great room size. Very nice and easily walkable. Car park was small and full when we arrived, but easy street parking nearby. Overall very nice stay, and will come back.
