We've stay here before and would stay again in a heart beat! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well supplied. The bed was also very comfortable and the pillows were nice and fluffy. We had supper in the restaurant the fries were amazing! I had Nachos the meat was over cooked which was a bit disappointing. We also had breakast before we checked out. My scramble eggs were delicious! They were missing some items on the menu however and did not offer a substitution. Hotel 10/10 restaurant 6 out of 10. We had great service. Would we eat there again? Probably.

Breakfast in the bar was delayed by an hour due to the cook being late. Each meal arrived about 2 minutes apart and there was some confusion over toast. My egg was a disaster. We had to wait to check in as staff was not available.

When we arrived even though we had booked a premium room they tried to downgrade up to another room that was terrible (smelly and dirty) After 2 attempts at reception we finally got the room we had booked and paid for.

The lobby was beautiful but the location was so run down that it felt unsafe to park/leave the vehicle let alone walk outside at dark. Jokes with other guests that we all felt the same - funny but not funny. The room was clean except the room itself feels like it’s never been deep cleaned.

The hotel is in a very good location but the hotel and area around it needs some urgent attention. It looks like limited maintenance has been performed. That being said the price was good and staff were super friendly and welcoming. The beds were clean and comfortable.

Check in was easy and staff was friendly. The bed was clean and it was quiet on our floor overnight. Had a great rest. The building is dated and could use some upgrades but it was worth what we spent. Security around the bldg and parking lot is an awesome idea and one we appreciated.

We all know the saying "Never judge a book by its cover". That applies to this hotel. From the outside you may be a little wary but keep an open mind. The rooms and hallways have been renovated and our room was very clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. You will want a car to get around, but it is about a 20 minute drive to the bridge to Halifax and is close to the highways.

The heart stone Inn was located a block away from the Atlantic superstore, which was convenient. The hotel was reasonably priced compared to some hotels in Halifax and easy to get to from the airport.
