Great hotel with very friendly staff, willing to help out with any queries. Breakfast was a great choice and again, breakfast staff were lovely. Room was good, with tea and coffee facilities. A great location close to Haymarket and easy to walk to grassmarket and central locations.

Staff lovely. Breakfast could off been better, dispite volume of people the cooked breakfast seemed to have been cooked a long time before been put out. Lock on bathroom door was broken.

Great Hotel, I like the Hampton brand of the hilton chain. Central location to activities in Edinburgh and commuting was easy. Clean hotel, great breakfast to start the day, and the staff were very obliging on any requests

All the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The breakfast could have an option of eggs to order (e.g. poached), with the only available being scrambled. The bacon every day was overcooked, hard & salty. Otherwise, a great breakfast. The shower water in my room always worked it's way onto the bathroom floor, with me needing to wipe the floor dry every time I showered. Also, a real annoyance to me as with so many hotel bathrooms, the plug in the sink would not hold the water, with water leaking down the drain every time before I'd finished shaving. A waste of time & water. If the above did not occur I'd have no hesitation in giving 5 stars. Again, a big 'thank you' to all the staff.

The location was excellent, on a good bus route and very regular. Reservation staff very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was very small, no fridge and only 2 tiny drawers and 6 hangers for your clothes - We had to have our clothes piled on the chair and stool. This may be ok in summer when just traveling with dresses, but we had jumpers etc. Breakfast not good quality, I had bacon the first morning, but didnt taste anything like bacon. Cheap bread, horrible coffee. Hotel not really worth £420 for 2 nights.

Very nice hotel in Edinburgh, 20 minutes away to historic Edinburgh or a few minutes in bus (stop in front of hotel, number 1 or 34), room nice, clean, wc comfortable. Bed top. Room Without noise! . Very good Breakfast. Check-in / out quickly. A very good option for visiting Edinburgh.

A blocked body lotion dispenser took two attempts to fix. Reception staff were unhelpful when we asked to be located in a standard room instead of the 'Accessible' room we were assigned to. This room was noisy - we were awoken each morning with thumping from the gym next door. We complained when noise from the gym prevented us from getting to sleep at 11.20pm and were then moved to a quieter room. The only eggs available for breakfast were scrambled or boiled.
