Overall we enjoyed our stay at Voco. The rooms would be better if the bathrooms had a proper lockable door, no idea why hotels at the moment think that glass doors that don’t shut properly are a good idea. Staff were not very helpful when we asked for help to hire a car. Other than that the stay was fine. Good location. Clean rooms. Decent breakfast.

Very classy and upscale. Room was huge. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the only thing I could get to work on the TV was YouTube which wasn’t a big deal since we were so exhausted by the time we got back. Would stay there again.

Room was exceptionally cold, they had to give us a space heater. The tv streaming facility did not work and the tv spontaneously turned on every night. Both woke up with a sore back every day due to poor quality mattress. Only positive was that staff at reception were friendly.

WIFI was out for 1.5 days. Little explanation at first, and then timeline for restoration from vendor kept shifting. Aside from that, hotel decor and location were good, service was good (aside from what could have been better communication on internet outage).

Really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great, good quality and plenty of options, although asked for it to be charged to our room and a few days later received an email stating we had an outstanding balance. A bit of an inconvenience. Staff were welcoming but not very forthcoming with information to help new travelers visiting Edinburgh for the first time.

Great overall experience, walking distance to the main attractions. Clean and new renovated spacious room, i was upgraded to a room with jacuzzi for free. One thing I would only change is tap water filled bottles

Perfectly adequate.

Front desk was great with their welcome and check in. Rooms were efficient and bed comfortable. Very very small with cheap hardware but it looks nice for now. Terrible coffee situation in the room. Terrible hours on room service (starts at like noon). Breakfast was edible but not great. Staff were all Lovely.
