To start the lady at the front desk had more important things to listen to then to help me! I had an issue with my key. She told me to keep it away from my phone like I was a five-year-old. I felt like the hotel was very rundown and really gross furniture was old wallpaper was coming off. The beds were so uncomfortable. It was very loud. It was an awful awful stay. I didn’t even bother trying the breakfast. It looked gross. They were kids sticking their hands and stuff. No one was paying attention. They only saving grace was the coffee place across the parking lot. They were super friendly. The coffee and food were very inexpensive, but other than that, I would never stay in that hotel ever again!

Front desk staff was very helpful and attentive to needs. Room was a little lack luster. Peeling wall paper in multiple places. Sink faucet still has toothpaste spots from previous guest. Sitting chair in room is badly stained on the chair itself and ottoman. Not what I would call "executive deluxe".

Breakfast was good. Small but nice pool and hot tub. Large lot behind the property for dogs to run. Adding a fenced dog area would make this property perfect.

Early morning awakenings

La Quinta had road crews staying as guests. One morning I was woken at 330am by either the road crew or a family having a discussion. They were either outside or with the door open for 45 minutes. The next night (Thurs am) I was woken at 430. I know, in fact, this was the road crew because they were eating breakfast before 530. The early rise times were not appreciated. And, no I didn't call the desk.

Our room was terrible (rm 106). Because I had a pet I was downgraded from a nice room on the 2nd floor to a room that was in disrepair on the first. I know the 2nd floor room was nice because I was traveling with my daughter and son in law. They had the one next to where we were first assigned. Yet two doors down from them was a pet owner with a much larger dog than ours. Room 106 has several large rocks or concrete under the carpet. Both my wife and I tripped over them a couple of times during our stay. The toilet is about 14 inches off the floor and my wife just had knee surgery. We asked for a different room and were told the hotel was sold out. The bathroom fan was incredibly loud. Also our door key didn’t work properly. It took several attempts to open the door. All in all this was the worse La Quinta we have ever stayed at by far. We will NEVER return!!
