Great place for a quick layover. Super close to the airport. Rooms are very basic but clean. Breakfast is basic for $10. The front desk was helpful in arranging taxi to ferry dock.

Basic room

This hotel is about a mile from the airport terminal on a hill. No one was at reception when we arrived and we waited several minutes calling out before a girl arrived to check us in. The room did nit have a hair dryer and when I phoned reception I was told I had to come to reception to pick it up myself. There is no shuttle to the terminal and a taxi costs about $20 USA. The pillows are hard as bricks and I really couldn’t sleep on them. Nothing fancy with the room, not even coffee in the room. The shower nozzle kept falling down so my husband rigged a knot in the hose to keep it up. Room served the purpose for a sleep on a 13 hour layover. No restaurant there either so the sleep is all it is for.

I caught a redeye and wanted to check in early, but of course they wouldn’t let me unless I paid the 6500. The accommodations were nice. The only thing I disliked was that they didn’t supply us with washcloths or a bath mat when you stepped out of the shower. Other than that, it was comfortable.

The hotel is conveniently located at the airport. It’s so close you can see it, but I don’t recommend walking to it. The heat and humidity do not aid in climbing a steep hill with luggage as small or little it may be. Take a taxi. It’s the best $20 bucks you will ever spend for a 3 min ride.

This hotel has some major misses and hits. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Yes, it is close to the airport but you still need to take a taxis to reach it. It is not walkable. The beds are very firm as are the pillows. There was only a sheet and no blanket. We struggled with the beds and slept fitfully. There was air conditioning. I would not stay here again.

Overnight stay before early flight.

We spent a night here before an early morning flight to the US. It was a basic reasonable sized hotel room, with comfortable bed. It is right beside the airport but was quiet. There is no food on site and no restaurants nearby.

Even though it is right next to the airport you still need to take a 20$ USD taxi ride. A car was broken into while we were there. The area is not very nice and doesn’t really have any restaurants nearby. We will choose a different place next trip even if it’s a little costlier. It was just a place to sleep before our early flight home.

No the place you want to stay in Papeete

Staff were very friendly and it was cleanbut that’s about the only things that were good about the place. Didn’t even have a hairdryer in the room. Very old needs an update. Breakfast was not what one would expect.

Not a great stay

The hotel is within eyesight of the airport but is difficult to find. Our flight arrived in the evening late and directions to get to the property were not provided. When we called, they were also unclear. The hotel drive does not have a visible sign and is not well lite. Breakfast was sparse and you pay $12 each US for coffee, juice, cereal and toast. The majority of the tenants get to the property late and breakfast is over at 9 and it should be at least 10.

Clean, comfortable and close to airport. Up a steep hill with requirement to go the long way round. With baggage will need to take a taxi xpf 20,000 each way. Only food available is breakfast and in room only have a fridge and large kettle (too big to fit under bathroom tap) with minimal supplies, polystyrene cups, no spoon or stirrers and no milk - although reception happy to supply on request.
