Clean room, nice view. The bed was very firm. Frustration with the concierge. Guests are not allowed to use a luggage cart without a concierge. FIrst time ever that a boot of mine was LOST en route. I had to retrace the journey my luggage took and found it in the parking garage. The attendant was very blase about it. Not impressed. Checking out, I requested the valet bring a cart up and had to call again. The group I was with was on a time schedule so they had to leave without me. It was an inconvenience. The valet in the morning was very nice and respectful and listened to me vent and apologized. He gave excellent customer service when he arrived. We ate in the restaurant. The food was great!

We were there for an anniversary, and received a fun surprise, a couple of truffles on a plate were left for us while we were out. Check in was exemplary, very friendly. The room itself is a little dated but the view from the balconies exceptional. There was a lot of noise coming from a parking garage across the street, but it's under construction so I don't expect it to be a full time problem there. Parking is easy, the room key opens and closes the gate with in and out privileges.

I have stayed at this property for a couple years every time I visit Corpus and this time the room was so dirty. The bathroom was missing all the knobs on the cabinet. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. It was just filthy. The entire stay was a let down.
