Overall, we had a lovely stay and would consider returning, possibly for a girls’ trip next year. The home was clean, comfortable, and well laid out, with plenty of space for everyone. We especially appreciated that each bedroom had its own exterior door, and the combination of central heat and space heaters made the house very cozy. The space itself was a big highlight of our stay.There were a few issues worth noting for future guests. At check-in, the cleaners were still at the property due to the previous guests leaving it in poor condition. We were initially told the delay would be about an hour, but it ended up being closer to two. The cleaners shared that they had been unable to reach the host for several hours. When we later contacted the host about compensation, he did offer a late checkout, but the interaction felt rushed and somewhat dismissive, and the late checkout wasn’t ultimately helpful due to our travel plans.We also experienced a few maintenance issues, including a coffee pot that didn’t work properly and a late-night power outage in the main living area. We had to reset the breaker ourselves, which was located in a very dark, unlit area of the yard, with several exterior lights not functioning. Despite these issues, we truly enjoyed the home’s layout and comfort. With improved communication and a few fixes, this could be an exceptional place to stay, and we would definitely consider returning.
