The room was a great size, however the furniture, sheets and towels need to be updated. The resort could use staff to ensure people’s needs are met. The elevator was broken and they did not make guests aware of it or offer any assistance getting luggage down the stairways. The front desk staff had inconsistent answers for many things. When we asked about a late checkout the night before we were told it was dependent on availability and to come back in the morning. The next day the front desk told us it was not something they did. When we told them about what we were told the night before, she told us ok for 100 or maybe 150 dollars extra. The hotel resort fee seems to not really cover anything as you have to pay for chairs on the beach. We had a 3 bedroom place and it only included 2 chairs. Then we were told - ok 4 chairs. It felt frustrating to get different answers from staff members. The chair my husband was sitting on by the pool broke and he fell. The resort did offer to refund our extra person fee to amend that situation which was appreciated.

The staff was super friendly, the resort amenities were great. The 2 complimentary beach chairs made our stay extra enjoyable, the room was clean, and very spacious. Definitely enjoyed our stay at the costa.
