Great views

Beautiful hotel. Checking in was a bit slow as there was only 1 person working the desk, so that made an extremely long line. The room was beautiful, as well as the view of the river. The beds, however were a little worn, and not all that comfortable. One bed caved in towards the middle and was a little too soft. The ladies at the Shore 2 go, as well as the bar were very nice and showed their hospitality.

Handicap accessible shower a nightmare

Room and facilty was great, the shower in the bathroom was poorly thought out. A quick 5 minute shower had the entire bathroom floor covered in standing water. We had to use all our towels to soak it up. Called front desk 3 times requesting fresh towels (230pm, 630pm and 1130pm) and at 1145pm we finally got them.

It's All About The Client

Our check-in hostess, Manager Savannah, started our stay off wonderfully by saying, "It's all about the client" - and she meant it. We couldn't have asked for anybody better. She went out of her way to make sure our stay was excellent. Also, India, reservation hostess, treated us with kindness and respect and made our stay better. The room was was very nice but the seating was limited. It would have been nicer with a couch for comfort. The river view was amazing and certainly added to our experience at the hotel. We were in Jacksonville to attend an event at the Florida Theatre, and the hotel's location was perfect and very convenient.

After an hour plus on the phone with Expedia trying to straighten out our reservation in saint Augustine, Expedia made a reservation for us at the Hyatt Regency in Jacksonville. The welcoming staff was amazing and super pleasant. This place knocks it out of the park! I couldn’t be more pleased. Despite the aggravation of our Augustine reservation being screwed up, this place more than makes up for it.
