This is presented as a high end boutique hotel but it is far from it. The grounds are beautiful but the rooms are cheaply finished, sparsely decorated and in poor repair. The windows don’t appear to have been washed in years. When the sun shines on them you can barely see outside through the dirt. Added to that, there are no drapes just a blackout blind giving the room an unfinished feeling. The website boasts of having one of Canada’s top 100 restaurants but in fact there is just a pub serving very sub par pub food. Apparently the dining room has not been open for several years. All in all a very disappointing experience for something that was supposed to be a fun splurge.
Beautiful and peaceful place. We stayed one night but had a wonderful stay. We ate dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed the whiskey cocktails.
We would stay there again.

Really enjoyed the distillery however we stayed in the chalet, which was a little bit too rustic, and felt claustrophobic. Very tiny didn’t care that it had a window unit out of the front door for cooling took away from the look of the chalet. The bed was too small for two people didn’t care that there was a bathtub right next to the kitchen next time if I ever go back I would stay at the hotels, main facilities, not chalets, felt it was overpriced for what it was
Loved the property - the Distillery building was iconic in look and the grounds were very well maintained. The Pub and restaurant was great and the live music was perfect for atmosphere.
Staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Loved the proximity to Inverness but also the quaintness of being situated in the valley. Great night time exposure to the Red Moon!
Special place. Beautiful grounds, wonderful live music.

Unique property a bit past its prime. I loved our cabin but there wasnt any hand soap. We got some from the pub at dinner.
Some fixes wouldn't cost anything, like pulling the weeds sprouting through the deck and stairs of the chalet and removing the installation stickers from the pub bathroom stall partitions.
Im not sure the value for the money is there but it is certainly a pretty place
