This place is a dump. The rooms are tiny, the views are terrible (unless you only look out of the top 20% of the window), the hallways stink, the walls are thin, the ameneties are virtually non-existent. Having a log-cabin asthetic merely papers over the cracks of what should be a $100 motel, not a $300+ lodge. I will never stay at any Basecamp property again

Absolutely terrible experience. The location of the lodge is beautiful but the lodge itself is not. The walls are literally paper, thin, and you can hear everything from the other rooms. The hotel fails to mention this before you book. They even have a sign up upon check-in about noise complaints. Fellow guests are just talking normally and you hear full conversations. You can also hear if they even move a step in their room. We had the worst sleep of our entire vacation at this hotel. The hotel did absolutely nothing to compensate for the situation. Despite being loyal customers you get treated like trash. The staff full on acknowledged that many guests complain on a daily basis but they refuse to put out a warning on booking pages. Staff are lacking emotional intelligence and are not at all trained in hospitality excellence. Other Basecamp properties are much better. We had a beautiful time at Basecamp revelstoke and Banff. This property has so much potential that is being wasted. The backyard can be freshened up for an even better view. Given the style of the lodge, it would be nice if they could add a small coin laundry facility as well.

Beautiful views from the common area. Room was tiny. Not even a chair to sit on or room for one. Walls are paper thin. Could here someone in the next room talking on the phone. May be better off spending a few dollars more and staying at another hotel chain.

Base camp was located right by the river and it was beautiful, the views were amazing. Walking path, coffee bar, easy check in. Will stay again, family room is huge.
