Parking is located offsite and a shuttle provides transportation from the parking lot to the property. In order to reach the offsite parking lot please follow the below instructions. Take the Trans Canada Highway heading west towards Field and Golden, BC. The turnoff to Emerald Lake Lodge is located 1 kilometer west of Field, BC. Follow the road for 8 kilometers until a sign that says 'Overnight Guest Parking.' Turn left into the parking lot. In the parking lot is a cabin. Use the telephone in the cabin to call the front desk. A shuttle will be sent to pick up guests.

Property is in a very good location. Very peaceful. Needs a little renovation. I would be happy to see more veg food options on the menu. But overall loved it. My only complain is that upon check out I had asked for an email copy of my receipt, never ever received it. Called the property couple of times. I gave up.

This place was amazing, relaxing but most of all the views and our room had a wood burning fireplace which was beautiful. The meals and service was exceptional, very friendly and always helpful. We will be returning for sure.

For the price they charge, the rooms need updating. The dining staff were all excellent but the front desk staff were not.

A location that can’t be beat. Terrific restaurant serving a fair bit of different meats such as bison, and elk. Our suite needed some renovations but the property is mostly great.

It was so nice to be able to burn as much firewood as I wanted in the fireplace at the lodge. Also, the lodge didn't have wifi, which was inconvenient at first, but it was a great experience to be able to focus on conversations with family without relying on electronic devices. Also, the trail that circles the entire lake was so nice. The only regret was that there was no refrigerator in the room, which was inconvenient. I had no choice but to pack the food I brought in a bag and leave it on the veranda for a while, but while I was eating breakfast, a wild animal opened the bag and ate the food.

Emerald Lake is consistently fabulous, year after year. We come to this property annually for the peace and quiet that comes with staying in these cabins. We love the fireplaces, cozy beds, hot tub and walk around the lake. The food is amazing and is such a treat. Thanks for your excellence!
