Expedia won't let me post the price of the property but for the amount we paid, you'd expect Presidential accommodations BUT it's far from it. The cabins are old, rundown and in desperate need of a refurbishing. You are literally paying for a gorgeous view of the lake and mountains....that was a it because the food is overpriced and horrible and the staff is just BLAH. It's so obvious they are sick of the very people that pay their salaries. Unless you are super wealthy, just stay somewhere else and just drive in to see the place because there is one last thing they don't mention when you book.....this property is in the National Park area so the general public can invade/overpopulate the area all day until 7:00 pm
Our stay was wonderful. Very relaxing and a beautiful location. My only concern was with the room. For the amount we paid, I would assume the room would be a bit cleaner and updated compared to the photos online. Our bathroom floor was rather dirty and our bath tub had a few large chips taken out of it. My husband who is quite tall couldn’t even stand under the shower head. BUT this did not affect our stay and we still enjoyed our time here and will definitely return.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Gorgeous surroundings.
Room had a few issues though:
Toilet was unmoored from floor so it rocked.
Hot water faucet appeared to leak.
Tub to tiled wall interface needed some fresh caulking.
Otherwise the room was great.
Spectacular views of Emerald Lake and top notch service! ( we especially liked Ryker who was personable and quick to deliver us ( and too many pieces of luggage) to and from our cabin. The property grounds are well manicured and the rooms are clean.
Setting is unbeatable... just beautiful. Rooms are nice (albeit slightly dated). Staff was outstanding all around. My only negative(aside from the exhorbitant price) was the shuttle system to the parking lot...I understand the need for that, and applaud the staff for their efficiency in management of the system, but it's still a hassle.
Although the parking is offsite, the hotel makes it very easy for you and the staff is amazing.

Emerald Lake Lodge, Lake View Room
Paying for the view not the condition of the room. It’s a beautiful resort in the most beautiful setting. The rooms are old and need an upgrade. Bed was very comfortable. No AC. Wording the room type as Lake view is subjective because the trees are really starting to block the lake view. Room smelled like smoke from the fireplace.
