Our room was great. Went for dinner at the lounge and the poor server was ran off his feet as he was the only server and the restaurant was packed as well as the lounge. Food was good and the server did his very best to get to everyone.

The property was smaller than the photos looked like. The shower was incredibly small. The refrigerator was still on a styrofoam box… like it wasn’t fully installed. You may want to take out the “new” in your add…. It didn’t seem newly refurbished or what ever it said. The views were amazing and the parking was easy. It was close to Banff which was our main reason for coming.

Very expensive to just sleep as we didn’t use any other facilities. Should offer free breakfast with such an expensive hotel. The window in the room which we were assigned faced into a big brown Pilar (very unattractive). When we booked the room, it seemed every room had a jacuzzi in it. Disappointed!!

Our room and bathroom were very clean. Lots of space in this suite. The kitchenette was well stocked with plates, utensils etc. The lighting in the room and bathroom were great. The bathroom had lots of counter space for our toiletries. There was even a small tv in the bathroom. Towels were large and very nice. The bed was comfortable and the floors, carpet and tile were clean. A table and 4 chairs for the kitchenette. A couch and another chair were in the room. Plugs and USB plugs were adequate. That's a plus these days. Nice size TV. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend this property.

We spent two weeks on a self drive tour through the Canadian Rockies. This was hands down the best place we stayed. The rooms were of considerable size with a couch, desk, and kitchen which included stove top, microwave and fridge. There was an impressive amount of silverware, plates, bowls and kitchen utensils/supplies and they were all very new. The room was very clean and even had a TV in the bathroom!! Don't see that a lot in hotels. It was just a fantastic hotel, staff were great, and though the ice machine was not working you could get ice in the restaurant. No complimentary breakfast but the other aspects of the hotel more than made up for it. This is a chain we'll look to use in the future.

Stayed one night while passing through Golden. Unfortunately, the lobby and our first room reeked of cigarette smoke, which was a major turnoff. To their credit, the front desk staff did accommodate us by moving us to a new room, which was better—but the lingering smell left a bad impression. We didn’t want to risk being accused of smoking in a room we didn’t cause the smell in. Overall, just an average stay. Nothing special, and there are definitely better, fresher options in nearby Revelstoke if you have the flexibility. Not likely to return.

When staying in Golden you are a captive audience so expect to pay much more than you normally would for the quality of the hotel. I would consider the Prestige to be an average hotel although the rooms are of a decent size and ours came with a jetted tub. Some of the furnishing were a bit nicked up and we only had a blackout shade on the window so if you are on the ground floor, anyone walking by can see right into your room if you want the shade open. Also, we did miss having a suitable reading light or lamp. Overall it was OK.
