We booked this property to enjoy the pool and hot tub. It smelled like rotten cheese and the pool deck was dirty and slimy. We also were ok paying more for the night as we planned on the continental breakfast …. The dining area was in disrepair and the breakfast was shut down. Wanted to fill water bottles from the guest services station, also empty. Tap water smelled like sewer. Not impressed.

Upon arriving at the hotel I was told that I didn't book a pet friendly room, I have always put in my special requests when I am booking through expedia that I will be traveling with my dog and therefore need a pet friendly room (I double checked my reservation and this was included)and this was the first time I had issues. The front desk did accommodate me and switch me to a pet friendly room, unfortunately this room was smelling so much like pot I couldn't stand it. They did accommodate me again and move me to another room... this room however the door didn't lock. At this point I felt like a huge inconvenience so I mentioned it too the front desk and they didn't seem to get the fact that the door was not locking after it had shut. I mentioned this upon check out and notes we made. Traveling as a single female and not having a door lock when I exit my room is a huge safety issue as it would be for anyone staying at a hotel. So for a hotel that was $340 after tax (and pet fee) I definitely don't know if it is the place to stay if there are other choices

This was a nice property in Golden, BC. The room includes a microwave and refrigerator. There is pool and hot tub as well as free bikes. Did not eat at attached restaurant, but ate at two restaurants nearby that had delicious food. This is a good place to stay while visiting Yoho National Park.
