I won't stay there again!

Old hotel, not the best neighborhood. My hotel room door had been kicked in previously. They put a reinforcement bracket in the door jamb/ lock area but you could see daylight between the door and the jamb. I didn't have the best of sleep there!

TLDR: Non Working AC, Missing Door Latch, Cigarette Smelling Room in Non Smoking Room, Police Activity at Hotel, Unpleasant Activities Outside Hotel. Unclean and dusty room. Money Wasted. Won't Recommend. My hotel experience was terrible. The first thing wrong was the AC. It wouldnt do cold Air. So we had to open the door to let it cool down. And at night we barely slept due the room being super hot. Leaving the door open felt unsafe due to the stuff happening outside. Alot of police cars were seen at the hotel parking lot. Also at night, a women was heard screaming about not taking her daughter. The door latch was even missing from our door, so we put some stuff behind the door to help prevent it from being opened from the outside. To add on to this, the non smoking room smelled like smoke. So smelling it all night was a nightmare. And the room was dirty, and dusty. When we used our cleaning disinfectant wipes on surfaces, the wipes were all dirty and dusty. Even though we paid for 3 nights. We only lasted 1 night and left for a different hotel. We asked if a refund could be given for the 2 unused nights and they said NO. I STRONGLY recommend you go to another hotel and not this one.

Bad experience

Desk operator had to finish smoking outside before serving us. Did not explain where room was located. Outside door did not feel secure bathroom door did not close. No towels in room. Was a cold night with only sheet and bed cover.

Great price!

I liked having two restaurants across Butler Ave. There was no pedestrian crossing anywhere nearby. The price at $44 on Hotels.com was too good to pass-up. I had around $10 of credit to apply. I wish that ESPN on channel 17 was available. I could have seen the Masters golf tournament from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
