Staff were friendly, property clean, rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing, everything was empty from coffee to eggs, had to ask them to fill it uo and by the time they did, there was a line uo, so had to wait a while to get food.

Dishwasher Disgust

Upon initial entry into our room I brushed by the dishwasher with my bare leg. I found it to be extremely hot. Opened the door to find it filled fill with pots, dish ware, glasses from prior guest. How disgusting! A violation of our sanitary expectations. It was so revolting that my wife nearly threw up upon this discovery. It felt like our privacy was invaded.

For a supposedly upscale hotel, the standards are quite low. The rooms lack proper maintenance and cleanliness, especially in the bathrooms. The front desk staff was very friendly, but housekeeping service was poor — our room wasn’t cleaned for two out of the four nights we stayed at the hotel.

Nice smelling sheets and towels...

I loved having a small kitchenette equipped with mostly everything we needed to cut fruit or keep drinks and other food cold. The beds had good pillows and we slept really well. I will definitely be staying with Marriot TownePlace again.

Great place to stay! We stayed here for five nights. Good selection of breakfast foods. Clean room, clean guest laundry facility, clean lobby, elevators and hallways. Free wi-fi was intermittent during our stay.

First time unhappy with a Marriott stay

We booked a suite with a king and double pull out couch. This was not suitable for a family of 4. Even with the two smallest people on the pullout it was awful. Also, the smallest double imaginable. As a couch there was barely room for two average sized women to sit side by side. We booked this hotel in part for the pool for our 12 and 14 year old to enjoy. Unfortunately there was a baseball tournament in the area with teams staying at the hotel. Our family was told that a fight had broken out at the pool so they closed it to all guests. This was another disappointment. To add insult to injury, the TV in the main room with the sofa would not turn on. We called the desk who weee to send someone up. An hour later no one appeared we called again, this time no answer. Shortly there after a new remote was delivered. This did not solve the problem. I advised the staff member upon checkout that the TV does not work despite our efforts in hopes that they will fix it for the next guest.
