I stayed at this hotel over the long weekend and, unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience — especially considering the price. We paid just under $500 for one night, which felt extremely overpriced for what we received.
The room itself was clean, but the beds were old and uncomfortable. Our window faced the front of the property, where the view was piles of garbage and wooden pallets — not exactly what you expect from a hotel at this price point.
Mosquitoes were a huge issue, especially around the patio and hot tub area, and the hotel provided nothing to help keep them away. This made it hard to enjoy the outdoor amenities we were looking forward to.
We also ate at the on-site restaurant and were shocked to pay nearly $60 for “cake in a jar.” There were no photos on the menu, and if we had known what we were getting, we definitely wouldn’t have ordered it. The presentation was disappointing and the taste didn’t make up for the cost.
Now that the weekend is over, I noticed the same room is priced under $200 and even at that rate, I personally wouldn’t stay here again. Overall, it was not worth the money or the experience
