drug addict and drunk people yelling and hookers

I was there and told them im not gonna check-in becuse of safety concerns (drug addict and drunk people yelling and hookers on premises) and low standards of room not being cleaned and not being ready for my stay ! The front desk was affraid of everything going on around him so he would of long the lobby door and didn't even open the door for me as a guest.

I have travelled to over 40 countries over the past 30 years and have never stayed at a hotel as bad as the OYO on Katy Freeway. The room was damaged, no amenities, the television and refrigerator did not work. The toilet and shower were not cleaned. The property stunk of marijuana and the hotel is definitely a place where illicit activities are tolerated.

There were five people waiting in line and it took 35 minutes to find the front desk clerk. upon attempt to check in, he proceeded to tell me that there was a $50 cash deposit. I said we had no cash. He said you have no room. And turned us away with a nonrefundable room and said sorry! The staff was incredibly rude and disrespectful and did not care that they had been people wait that long
