We stayed here for a day. We had a good stay overall but i felt some things can be improved - Pros - 1. Property is built nicely with a lot of activities. 2. Rooms have nice view and are spacious. 3. Parking is ample. 4. Service is quick Cons - 1. Lake water is not very clean, some efforts should be made to clean the water 2. There is little to almost no staff near rooms and activity areas 3. Checkin time is 4pm and some water acitivities end time is 4pm on weekends, so you have limited time to enjoy them unless you stay her for multiple days. 4. In the evening the area gets filled with insects so you just can't walk around without getting bit. Hotel needs to do something about this. Overall i feel the property is nice but just needs to be taken care off in a better way and that will improve the experience for the visitors.

Overall, we had a good experience at Deerhurst Resort. The restaurant options were great, and the live entertainment was a nice touch. The pool area was enjoyable, and most of the staff were warm and friendly. However, some areas need attention. The facilities, especially the locker rooms and towel service at the pool, could use updating. They have a one-towel rule, but the towels provided are very small — closer to a hand towel than a bath towel. We stayed in a waterfront room with a beautiful view, but unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy the balcony due to several large spiders right outside the door. We also found a spider nest inside the room and a millipede in the bathroom. If you’re not a fan of bugs, this may be something to consider. In-room service was limited — no housekeeping or room service during our stay, which seemed unusual for a resort at this level. The room also lacked some basic amenities like hand lotion, water bottles, and a variety of teas. Lastly, one staff member at the breakfast buffet made us uncomfortable due to her appearance, which gave the impression she may be unwell. It stood out in contrast to the otherwise professional and polished team. Deerhurst has potential, and we enjoyed many parts of our stay, but a few improvements would go a long way in elevating the overall guest experience.

The resort is in a beautiful area and has some great amenities - but unfortunately is showing its age - the balconies have mold and need a power wash and paint - and the restaurants are expensive but not worth it at all. Place needs a lot of TLC and modernization - bar was falling apart with fridges leaking everywhere

Overall the resort was very nice. Lots of amenities for the kids. Rock climbing, arcade, indoor playground, outdoor activities and pool. We stayed at the bayshore, waterfront room but the hotel was very outdated and dusty. The screen door to the balcony lookout looked like it had not been cleaned for months. Cobwebs were all over the screen and a ton of spider eggs were in the awning. When you entered the hotel room, it spelt musty like an old attic. The bayshore is an older building. The other building on the resort looked much nicer.

An amazing family getaway with a lot to do with the kids. Only downside was food options & pricing, but take a 10 min drive and there are many food options for half the price
