Requested housekeeping to make up room which wasn’t done. Received attitude when requested clean towels. When no one appeared, tried calling again and was ignored. Had to call front desk before I received service from housekeeping Front desk was very polite and courteous and helpful.

Have stayed at Ameristar several times over the years and usually enjoyable. This stay however was disappointing! Hot tub and pool were closed. Ice machine on our floor did not work and the refrigerator in our room did not work. For the price you pay for the rooms and amenities you think they would more efficient and keep up on repairs and maintenance.

Hotels.com did not mention the pool was closed. That was a big deal as that was a big reason we picked this hotel. They didn’t charge us a resort fee but we were very disappointed and it was more trouble to change hotels.
