Hotel is definitely showing its age. The rooms themselves are fine, but the bathrooms are very dated. Didn’t think much of the breakfast, but it was adequate. The warmest indoor swimming pool I’ve ever been in, so big thumbs up for that!

Being on the outskirts of Edinburgh was a wonderful contrast to being in the city. I was originally worried that being so far out of Edinburgh would be an issue but it was only a quick UBER or convenient bus ride in and out of town. The grounds around Dalmahoy are so lovely that eating breakfast at the restaurant was a joy as well.

Overall very nice! Staff very professional Minor issues - each rooms main door slams shut and can be heard in nearby rooms every time someone goes out or in 24/7 and it’s loud enough to wake up other nearby rooms. - shower stalls could do with a black mold cleaning. - bed sheet on mattress but no bed sheets between blanket/comforter and mattress sheet. The property’s grounds, services and facilities are well worth visit

Dalmahoy Country Club Hotel is set in beautiful surroundings. Plenty of activities within the hotel and in the surrounding area. Easy access to Edinburgh, the North and the West. 15 minutes from the airport. I last stayed there 15 years ago, and it appears little has been done over those years. Looks a little tiered.

Hotel room was clean, the bed was quite big and very comfortable. Love the heated towel rack by the shower. Staff were friendly. It was quite a busy location and they got people through check-in etc. quite efficiently. The grounds are beautiful. The food was okay - a bit disappointing for the cost, and we had left it as our last dinner on our trip so just wasn’t what we were hoping for. Otherwise beautiful hotel and grounds.

Property was beautiful, hotel rooms were simple and tasteful, however bathroom had no exhaust fan and toilet lid broken due to placement of flush handle which was also broken.
