Quick beach getaway.

Rooms were clean, breakfast was ok, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is a close to the beach. I would recommend this hotel for an excellent beach getaway.

The cleanliness of the hotel and room were terrible. The elevator had something sticky on the floor all day one day. Our room had an odor and the coffee condiments were opened from previous guests. The carpet was stained really bad and needed cleaning.

Property is beginning to show signs of under staffing by the way things were maintained. They also eliminated the check in desk for Springhill Suites. Should just call the whole hotel a Marriott.

On arrival the staff was very nice and knowledgeable. We had a handicap room, which was fine, because we liked the room; I assumed that’s all they had since we booked a suite. However, we walked on balcony once we arrived and there was a bucket of blue moon beer that had been drank from previous visitors. We didn’t have body wash and I our sink didn’t drain. (There was about 15-20 ppl that stayed and their sinks didn’t drain either). We had to always get our own towels and wash clothes, as we didn’t ever receive housekeeping and were there 6 days. We stayed there at least 3-4 times a year and have stayed for the last 4 years, but we are highly disappointed this time. The pool cushions on couches need to be thrown out, they are ripped and the foam is coming out. This should be done at least 2 times a year. Very inexpensive. Anna at the bar area, was very nice and helpful the whole time we were there.

Filthy ottoman.i mean really gross. They said - every day - they would remove it, but did not. SERIOUS struggle to get towels and coffee for the room. 4 days of frustration. Never stay here if you like to shower daily.

Buffet service needs improvement

The overall stay was fine. The breakfast area is in need of drastic change. The assortment of food was adequate if it was stocked properly. The area was not kept up and area messy. Saturday at 830 there were very little eggs, the sausage, quiche, waffle mix, coffee, and cups were empty. The "boys" stated it was cooking. The staff should be made aware of the count of guests to properly keep area stocked during the service. The cruise line boat was in port!!! and it is Spring break! This morning, Sunday, coffee out, still very busy and the "boys" sitting at the entrance of the buffet were more concerned about checking room cards then keeping the buffet full and clean. The tables were not kept clean during the service time either. Poor management of this area. The front desk staff was AWESOME, the hotel was very nice and so was the pool area. Our room was a nice as well. 371
