There was someones used fake eyelashes on the bathroom floor and oubic hair in the tub. We were there about an hour and a random staff member just walked in our room without knocking, no apology acted as though that was normal practice. Kids ran by our room and slamming the fire doors from 7-11pm, i made 2 calls to the front desk about this but that was futile. The bed was comfy. People across the street hollered and partied until 3 am which included a knife fight. My husband went for breakfast in the am, was interrogated by a staff member about "his intentions and if he was actually staying at the hotel", breakfast was cold eggs, stale waffles and meat lasagna? Ive stayed here before qheb traveling for work but this stay was nothing but bizarre and we definitely will not be back. desk about it that did nothing

Hello unfortunately This has been one of the worst experiences at a hotel. The kids getting yelled at for walking in the hotel to go to each others rooms. The breakfast not being actual breakfast foods. Then not being told the pool would be closed. I never received an email they stated went out and nothing was posted anywheres. The fact that it is only 6 pm and kids are told no pool no going to another room to see their friends is ridiculous. It has always been quiet time at 9 pm. There is no reason why someone is not understanding. There are kids here in the hotel.

Was very disappointed with the breakfast, we always choose hotels with breakfast so we don’t have to purchase elsewhere as it’s expensive being away for the weekend. It was very slim and gross choosing no bacon no sausage just eggs, lasagna beans, and biscuits. Leftover sweets, and a cereal bar. Not good coffee. We were outside in the motel and the Wi-Fi was not great for watching TV, etc..

We got the suit with the hot tub and the room had a bit of a smell, the little bathroom has mold on the ceiling but over all decent room paid way to much for what we got. No pool, no restarant which we didnt knkw till we got there and the breakfast was interesting to say the least not canadian breakfests thats forsure was a big let down.

In town for business. Hotel is undergoing renovations. Breakfast is in temporary location with limited offerings, premade and kept sort of warm. Had a hard time getting heat in room regulated. Was a window unit, either blasting heat (even with temp turned down) or blasting cold air. My 2nd day of appointments were cancelled due to weather and I returned home to avoid being stuck in a snow storm. There was no flexibility on not paying for the 2nd night, despite leaving at 5 pm. For future visits to Truro, I will likely examine other options.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and breakfast was tasty. I was irritated that the hot tub was broken and I wasn't informed. Also, the external door in our room and the around the air conditioning unit was so drafty we had to use most of the towels and pillows to block the cold air coming in.

The room was perfect. The staff were great. The restaurant was under renovation, so only breakfast was served. Hot tub was out of service, but pool was plenty warm. The kids loved it. We will be back. Thanks!!

It was -15 outside, a snow storm had just started -I checked in late at midnight , the room was freezing cold. The baseboard radiators did not work, and the heating fan was very loud but did not produce any heat, I had to sleep in my clothes and hat to keep warm . I was to tired to ask if I could change rooms I did not sleep well at all.
