Book Japantown - Ayer Station hotels

I wanted to raise a couple of concerns regarding my stay, as the experience fell significantly below what I would expect from a four-star hotel. First, the $19 parking fee is difficult to justify given the complete lack of enforcement. After paying, I was not asked for a license plate number, and there appears to be no monitoring in place. This raises a fundamental question as to what the fee is actually for. In practice, it creates an unfair situation where guests who comply are charged, while others could easily park without consequence. Additionally, the hotel is located in an industrial area with abundant parking, which further makes this charge feel unreasonable. When I asked staff, the only explanation provided was that “it is Silicon Valley,” which is not a meaningful justification. Second, I was very surprised that there were no food or coffee options available after 11 a.m., even on a Saturday. I was unable to get even a basic hot latte, as staff stated they had already “filed the report.” For a hotel of this category, the complete lack of basic daytime service is unacceptable. Overall, these issues made the experience feel far below four-star expectations. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and I would appreciate if you could address these concerns accordingly.

Beds are very comfortable and the staff are amazing

The stay was overall just okay. The Tempur-Pedic bed was very comfortable, but the room itself was otherwise underwhelming. The biggest downside was the staff. The front desk employees were noticeably unfriendly and not very welcoming. When explaining parking, it was presented more as “parking costs this amount or you’ll be towed,” which felt like an odd and off-putting way to communicate that information. They also didn’t provide much information about the hotel’s amenities at check-in, and I later realized there were several things available that I wasn’t aware of during my stay. The breakfast was disappointing, and my room was not cleaned during my stay. Overall, it was an average experience, but the unfriendly service left the worst impression.

I was disappointed with this Hilton Hotel, there was a cockroach in my bathroom. the carpet in the hallway were dirty snd smelled like pee. There were unhouse people in the parking lot.

No towels available, no soap, roaches.
