Great location if you’re catching the train

We were very happy at Whistlers Inn. Our room was comfortable. The bathroom was good with plenty of hot water. We had everything we needed. Location was great. We ate the first night in the pub downstairs which was good and budget friendly. There were lots of cafes and shops very close. We were travelling on the train after our stay so Whistler’s Inn was perfect being straight across the road from the station.

My only complaint was that they need more parking. I had to put my rental car out on the street instead of in there a lot which only had a few reserve spots. But other than that, it was a great experience I would stay again.

Very bad service. April22,2025 @ 1430 we went in to the check in service and we very kindly ask if there is any possibility that we can check in early ( we are fully aware that check in time is 1600) but it’s not bad to ask if there is a chance to check in early . We are anyway flexible ,but as soon we ask a man at the front desk ( middle age man with glasses) he appeared exhausted and exasperated by our request for early check in . He was visibly pertered and drop his arm in frustration and sighed heavily ,we are shocked and felt uncomfortable and mistreated .. ( his reaction is unacceptable)! By his reaction this way we kind of lost our interest in staying at this hotel again. We chose this hotel the second time coz the first time we stayed was awesome experience . Good thing the women on the evening shift around 1600 when we came back to check in are so much better and welcoming ., I’m so sorry to say this review but hey ! Jasper is starting to come back up again after the fire and need more people to visit the town but if this hotel have this kind of staff in a hotel it’s not good for the business (just saying) I don’t know why he is hired but not a bit have a good qualification to do his job! Please management of whistlers Inn do something!!

Surprisingly fantastic stay. When we pulled in, it's an older place. Even though we had pre-booked fro three nights, we had mentioned to the wonderful woman behind the counter that we may not be staying the whole time. Before looking at the room. The room was absolutely fantastic with a kitchenette and separate bedroom. We would definitely stay there again! If you are looking for five star luxury, this is not it. If you want a super cute place to stay with memories that will last way longer than said five star hotels, this is it. Close to lots of conveniences too. Loved it!

Mountain style vibe in the lobby, a bit dated, but the rooms are nice. Very comfortable beds and pillows, which allowed a good nights rest after playing outside all day. Clean bathroom, good water pressure (hello, thick hair!). Very conveniently located, across the street from the visitor center.
