The pool and the beach were wonderful! So beautiful! Staff was great. Food at the restaurant was very good. The only reason I'm not giving five stars, is that there is no elevator, and we had a hard time dragging our suitcases up and down the steps.

This hotel is simply the greatest value on Kauai with the nicest staff, well-kept rooms and grounds, beautiful ocean-front location, and communal feel with guests coming out nightly for dinner and drinks at the Lava Lava Restaurant. This will be my go-to hotel when I return to the islands.

Beautiful grounds with ample green spaces and immediate access to the beach. Very easy to relax and talk story with family and others staying here. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful (Novella at the front desk gave us the heads-up on the all-island high school graduation day and the expected traffic jam in the afternoon and evening). Rooms were competitively priced and fit our style and budget; the free valet parking and regular parking was a huge plus! Coconut Marketplace and Island Country Market is next door for grindz, shopping, and all other conveniences; plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and regular shopping throughout Kapa'a town. It is centrally located on the island, so it was easy to drive north to Hanalei and south and west to Po'ipu and Waimea Canyon. We're looking forward to a return trip! Mahalo nui.

Loved the place. Coffee and reading with the waves on view. Daily morning yoga with the view and sounds of the ocean was a wonderful bonus as well as the refillable water bottles and stations around. Pool and hot tub were nice. The restaurant was good too!
