This was a nice location for our biking visit and was close to key trails. The hotel is quite dated but aside from the carpets is relatively clean. The included breakfast is great, although a bit crowded on weekends. I understand that full payment on arrival, plus a damage deposit, is not unusual, but it caught me by surprise as I was intending to pay at the end of our four-day stay rather than up-front.

The rooms and the hotel are tired and in dire need of a refresh. The bed was wild! You lay down and the door of the bed goes up in the air. It was not an adjustable bed. Not sure of the science behind that but interesting all the same. Carpets are worn and stained and despite having stayed in MANY hotels in my life I have never seen a stove and mini fridge combination. Quite the spacesaver! The staff that we interacted with were all friendly and professional. Despite its location-you are close to a lot of stuff-I honestly can’t say I would come back to stay in its current condition.

The toilet is toddler height, we were charged $30.00 for our 2 tiny dogs & felt that because we had dogs we were given an inferior room. Everything was very worn out. There is only an office chair in the room as seating. Towels & sheets were clean, however our dogs could smell that others had been here, on a positive note the breakfast was good. We were charged way toouch for what we got.. This ace could take some leasons from Motel 6, who don't charge for pets, but a far superior place to stay.
Tub has been repaired poorly, looks dirty & is stained
All baseboards are very worn
Baseboards need to be replaced or at least painted
Dresser, sidetables are not as good as you could get from a Thrift store

Loved the older style of the outside of the inn and the rooms, beds might need to be upgraded at some point as it was very springy and almost shaky? But the "retro" style of the kitchenette and bathroom was very cool, and so handy to have the kitchenette in room. Staff were all super nice, and honestly for the price we were definitely happy with our stay.

We stay here every year, it's a super convenient location for us close to family. It's dated, but in a cool way. It's very clean and the staff are lovely. They do need to invest in new beds, though. The bed in our room this time was an old sloppy jalopy and it stole some good sleep!
