We enjoyed our stay at Ibis Bay Beach Resort! The room was clean and the location right over the pool area was great! From staff to breakfast, everything was wonderful! We will stay again! We also enjoyed seeing the parrots and turtles! My one suggestion is that pellets should be added to parrots diet and some new toys! As an owner of a blue and gold, I know the intelligence of these birds and they need stimulation, especially since they’re in cages all the time!

This hotel is in a convenient location, close and walkable to quite a bit of places. It is quiet clean and good to escape everyday to life to relax by the water. I do like the old school charm but the place can use some updating. Our bathroom has rust around the tub, peeling paint around the sink and while secure, the sliding to the door to the room could also be updated. The staff at the bar were friendly and i did enjoy the shark feeding.

Great place, pool was operating and warm. Service at the pool side bar was great, all staff were pleasant. Room….clean, queen size comfortable bed, however the metal bed frame squeaked and rattled every time that I moved…annoying to get a good sleep. Bright outside overhang door light can’t be shut out, venation blind doesn’t close tight enough to keep the light out. No switch to shut it off. Several of the plugins to charge phone and iPad don’t work….unplugged a light to get power. I finally got up, went outside and unscrewed the bulb to the outside light. No coffee maker in the room, but morning free coffee at the restaurant. Morning free breakfast was great, variety, hot and cold food. I would definitely stay here again.
