Having read lots of varying reviews of this property we were very sceptical about what we would find. Plus points - ample free parking Friendly reception staff Free shuttle bus into town Nice pool area More than adequate breakfast (but far too much single use plastic). Negatives - Small room Cheap furniture Loud A/C Little sound proofing Small shower cubicle Massively overpriced for what you get BUT not in comparison to the rest of Key West.

Poorly managed hotel. Bar staff completely untrained. Ordered vodka/soda w/lime and was given a canned seltzer drink. The manhattan came in a martini glass and was just whiskey and sour mix because "they didn't have ingredients for it". The patio light at our room was out, we called 24 hour concierge and nobody answered. Tried a Florida lobster at their restaurant and it was gray, mushy and bad quality. Tried to return it and the waitress literally argued about how wrong I was, brought a manager and she argued about how wrong I was to return it. "This is how they are made" is what they said. They do have a shuttle service every hour to the main tourist area of Key West and the drivers were great. There is a beach at the hotel, but only to look at. You can't swim, its all brown plants and big coral rock bottom. Still, the beach was a nice view out to the water from far away.

Bartender service was extremely slow. Dining room service was very good food was very good. Greg the short bus driver was excellent. Very inconvenient having house keeping cleaning your room at 4:00 when you are trying to shower to head out to dinner.

This place was so nice. It is not A 5 star resort of course. They have A restaurant on site that we didn’t get A chance to eat at. The breakfast was great way to start day. They had transportation downtown every hour. This was so nice since we didn’t have to try to find parking and fight traffic. They have A beautiful little beach area with hammocks all around. I loved the two beautiful parrots on property along with several giant tortoises. We really enjoyed our stay here. Prices are expensive in Key west so this was our most expensive place we stayed. Don’t let the negative reviews keep you from this cute place.

We enjoyed our stay at Ibis. With the exception of a sad breakfast and overpriced (and under performing resturant-The Stoned Crab). Our room was facing the bay and we loved the view and critters (iguana, Ibis, pelicans, herons). Enjoyed my time in the hammock and sitting out in the evening. We had excellent customer service all around and our fav was the shuttle taking us downtown. The front desk even brought us a microwave to reheat our take-out dinner. Heads up! Key West is expensive! Paid more per night than in central London! Almost $400 at Ibis with tax and resort fee.

it says breakfast included. let me tell you ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! room we had was ok, but the shower HORRIBLE! people at hotel/resort were very nice and helpful if you needed anything. they provided transportation downtown and back every hour and that was EXCELLENT all the drivers were GTRAT!

Very loud air conditioner in window kept us up all night turning on and off and being so loud. They charge a resort fee for some reason but wouldn't call that a resort at all, breakfast offered was terrible ate there once then went out after that just a continental style breakfast, restaurant was expensive so didn't eat there just went out elsewhere for less money, beach area is super small. if this wasn't in key west it would be a $129 hotel room anywhere else so as long as you don't expect much its okay for a short stay

We loved everything about this resort. Rooms are adorable and very clean. Love the patios with the hammock. One of the best.perks is the short bus that continously brings you back and forth to downtown. Greg was THE best bus driver, had a great time. Will definitely be back

The Ibis is a great economical place to stay. The shuttle is right on time and runs all day (8am-10pm). Clean comfortable room. Kinda smallish rooms and shower. Restaurant on site and free parking. It was great.
