What can you say. Yes you can walk to the action area. I didn't, we took Uber. 5-6 minute ride. Had car and could have driven and parked there. Then when you get back to The Palms, good luck finding a parking spot at 2:30 am. So it's a nice place, but as you would see, next door, across the street down the road, it doesn't matter where you go, there are hundreds of other hotels, take your pick.

Nice environment, the room is big and bright. The only inconvenient thing is hard to find street parking, we had to park some far and walk to hotel.

Great place for a weekend in Key West. The building and grounds were very clean. It was nice to have a bar at the pool. Pool is big and no one is floating on top of another. I would stay there again.

Good property overall as it’s in Old Town Key West and very safe and walkable. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. My only feedback is that the property has no parking. It was street parking when it was advertised as “limited parking”. Luckily, we arrived early enough in the day that we secured a parking space in front of the property and our car stayed parked for the remainder of our stay.

Honestly, the best way to describe our stay was "fine". Upon arrival, the front desk attendant was rude. He seemed very annoyed by my inquiry on whether or not our room was available early (as the hotel had previously communicated it might be). We asked again around 2pm and again, very annoyed at being asked a simple question. I'll add that neither time did he look at anything in the computer so he was just stating it was not ready regardless of the true status. Shortly after 3 when we went back to check in, thankfully the new attendant was kind, eager to answer my questions, and incredibly helpful. Unless I totally missed it, there is no elevator for those that may need assistance to access the 2nd floor. Thankfully we navigated to our room without much issue as we were given a very clear map of the property. The room was fine. Dated and plain but appeared clean and suited the need of "just a place to lay your head". I agree with other reviewers the bathroom was tiny! No shelving in the shower, single stall kind of tiny. The room was quiet and felt safe. The "breakfast" was nearly non-existent. Fruit, bagels, juice... thats all i saw. Don't book based on the free breakfast... At the end of the day, would i book/stay here again? Probably not. I would probably find something a bit more renovated, a bit closer to downtown, and somewhere that had onsite guaranteed parking.

A very Ket Westy kind of place at a very Key Westy kind of price. So if you likenKey West and if you like paying high prices relative to what you get, this is a good place for you. A little bit off the beaten track from most of the things and places you wanna be, but not a terrible location, and also not great location.

Nice hotel, but the room was never dark at night - really could use some blackout curtains. Also the window AC unit was incredibly noisy and right next to the head of the bed, so I got very little quality sleep. Also the bird cage is charming, but who thought it was a good idea to keep a bunch of chirping birds right next to a bedroom? Breakfast is standard budget hotel breakfast - nice that it’s available till 10am.

Great vacation from the time we checked in, very helpful and friendly staff! We were upgraded to a cottage and the onsite salt water pool was refreshing. We liked that it was set apart from Duval, but still able to get there in 15 mins. Very clean! We will be back

The staff was wonderful, the room was clean and comfortable with amenities I appreciate (mini fridge, coffee maker). Negatives: Parking was problematic and if you are not average-size, the shower could be a challenge. All in all, enjoyed the stay;)

The hotel itself is beautiful, but due to the age of the building, you can hear everything happening outside your room and in the rooms above. I could hear every step from the room above us, as well as the TV and conversations, which made it difficult to relax. The size of the room was as expected for the price we paid. However the floor in our room was not properly cleaned it was sticky from the moment we walked in. We requested room service the next day. While they provided fresh towels and made the bed, they did not clean the toilet or the floor, which remained sticky.
