We recently stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved our stay there. Our room was in the new tower and had an ocean view, balcony, a king size bed, table, sofa, nightstands with integrated wireless charging. It was spacious and clean. And there was a washing machine and dryer for guests to use on each floor, free of charge. This was particularly handy after our stay in Volcano, where we hiked for days. It also felt private since the tower had a separate entrance and its own parking so we didn't need interact with front desk or hotel staff every time we came and went. Next time we're in Kihei, we'll definitely be staying there again.

We overall enjoyed our stay. The only slight drawbacks were the water fountain always being down, and there being a hidden resort fee that came as a big surprise at the end. Expedia / the hotel should be more upfront about that.

Maui Coast Hotel was the perfect place to stay during our recent visit to Maui! We stayed in the renovated tower and loved it! The property is beautiful, impeccably clean, and ideally located—just across the street from a lovely beach and close to fantastic restaurants in Kihei. What truly sets this hotel apart are its amenities. They provide reusable water bottles with convenient filling stations throughout the property, and the pool area is exceptional, featuring an infinity pool, a regular pool, a hot tub, a poolside bar, tiki torches, and live music in the evenings. Guests can also take advantage of provided pool and beach towels, as well as reasonably priced rentals for beach chairs and umbrellas. The complimentary shuttle service was another great perk. One of the most thoughtful amenities was the hospitality suite. After checking out, we were able to store our bags in a secure room and, after a full day of activities, use the suite to freshen up before our late flight—an incredibly convenient option. Lastly, the on-site Kihei Café is a must-try for breakfast and lunch, serving delicious food that made our stay even better.

My husband and I loved our stay at the Maui Coast Hotel. We go to Maui approximately twice a year and we’ve stayed in the area around this hotel because of its proximity to good beaches and food carts. We had a great trip. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. The pool is awesome and the poolside bar has great drinks. The hotel has good amenities like washing machines for guest use and water bottle refilling stations. These are the little details that make staying in a hotel - rather than a condo - worth it. I look forward to staying at this hotel again when I go back to Maui next.
