MCH has made a few changes since last year and needs to update their information. Live music times have changed (ending an hour sooner). The parking is quite expensive for guests, that should be built into the price. We asked to see a room in the original hotel to judge reviews for ourselves, we looked at the room with the bedroom/living space separate and it would have been fine although it is dated it isn’t bad. The kei tower doesn’t have a lobby restroom, only in your room so if someone is showering you’ll have to hold it (not a problem for me but for some people this is impossible). The tower is nice but there is still stuff lacking. For some reason the staff never seems happy, I did notice some same staff from last year though so the job must be good enough to retain employees. The infinity pool was a tad cool but it was only that way because it was topped off the night before. The staff went around the pool every day around maybe 1-2pm ish to hand out a little ice cream snack and I enjoyed “people watching” this for the surprised smiles that guests had. They keep flowers in the lobby for the ladies who want to add one to their hair and the front desk staff was happy to offer instructions for wearing. The laundry was very convenient and I could smell the pods on my clothing still when unpacking (i wish I knew the brand). This is a great place to stay but I took a star off because there was one staff member who just made things feel uncomfortable one day, without that 5.
