Very nice hotel conveniently located in the main train station area, and is even connected to the station via the underground passageway. Abundance of shops and restaurants all around and in the massive station itself. Good transportation links for travel within Kyoto and for day trips out of the area, to Nara, Osaka, even Hiroshima etc. Hotel itself was clean, comfortable, had nice rooms and good amenities including laundry service, or option of self-service laundromat (which was very easy to use and had ample machines). Highly recommend.

Rooms are small. But ideal location for shopping and dining. There are two properties with similar names. So a bit confusing when first arriving as there is another one much nearer to the train station .

Appreciated the daily water bottles and refrigerator, and pajamas. Nice warm shower and bath, and relatively roomy to other places. Next door to all conveniences. Couple blocks from train station. Easily rolled our luggage to hotel. Kindly held our luggage when we came early, so we could easily explore Kyoto.

Getting to and from the subway and trains are super easy from this hotel and you don't even have to go outside! The location of this for transportation and food is amazing. Staff is friendly and beds are cozy. One thing that drove me absolutely crazy about this hotel was the storage area in the room was very little even getting the bigger room upgrade. Literally no space on the bathroom counters for a bathroom bag because they have it full of stuff.
