Large hotel attached to subway station with a supermarket next to it. Convenient bus transport to Nara Park. Nice bathhouse. Welcome drinks for guests in the afternoon. Unfortunately, one of our 4 beds was so hard we could not use it.

Really well priced stay, had everything we needed. Staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Beds were very comfortable. Perfect location, close to Gion but far enough away that you’re not in a very congested area. Would definitely stay here again.

Home far away from home

I choose this hotel to be the center for all the areas I was exploring and I am happy that I did. It was close to all the districts but at the same time it was tucked away from the over crowded areas and the noise. The property is clean and the staff is very friendly and was always there to help. The room was always clean and the amenities provided by the hotel are amazing! I cant thank enough and praise enough how great this property is. Thank you for this stay. These 7 days felt like home

The hotel is located at the heart of Kyoto. We stayed there for 4 nights. The traditional Japanese room is very large and clean. We truly enjoyed the stay.

It was an amazing stay at Gran Ms Hotel. The staff were very accomodating and helpful. The rooms were a bit smaller than expected but they were clean and sufficient. Amenities were provided. There is a nice and tidy seating area at the reception. Just a suggestion about the Laundry that the dryer lint needs to be cleaned more often or the instructions provided for the users to do it themselves.

for the price point and location, this place was a steal! had a very traditional japanese ambience. only downside that the room we booked (the least expensive) didn’t have regular western type beds. we slept on mats. other than that, no complaints for the price we paid.
