The only thing I didnt like is during check-in the staff just directed me to self check-in right away. After checking in she didnt explain anything and got me lost what to do next. I would recommend that they should at least ask if there’s anything they could assist. They are very lacking on that part in the hotel.

Our room wasn’t the most spacious, but it had everything we needed. They have a nice little grab-and-go essentials like toothbrush, tea and coffee. This is a great option for people who want to stay super close to the Kyoto station for ease of transit into the city center or taking the Shinkansen to Osaka or Tokyo.

I found the hotel itself very nice but I am not one who wants AI check in. I did not not like using thier kiosk Ai check in. I was tired after a long trip and want to hear a nice human voice welcoming me to their hotel - not an impersoanal machine I have to learn to use after a long day. That is not what I want to deal with. The Breakfasts are good but not much of a choice for a western diet! For those who enjoy traditional Japanese breakfast offeringd it seemed pretty good. A good central location and getting around by public transportation is great.

Excellent. Super fast check in and check out. Easy to forward our luggage from the hotel with the help of staff. Buffet breakfast in Japanese style (few Western options) was a delicious and varied way to start the day. Our room was so tidy when we returned from sightseeing it felt like my mom cleaned it. 10/10 for cleanliness of rooms and hotel. Beds were comfortable and room was quiet. Bathroom and shower were wonderful with instant hot water and strong water pressure. Even though the hotel is a couple blocks away from the train station, the street is quiet at night. Can’t wait to return.
