Great budget hotel near the JR station. Checked in and out using the kiosks. Rooms are small, but easily accommodated 3. There's a connected 7-11. There was an unexpected city tax (200 yen a night I think?), but maybe it was stated and I don't see it. Overall a good choice if you're on a budget and will be spending a lot of time outside.

Check-in was smooth and efficient. The staff were exceptionally friendly and assisted us in arranging luggage transport to the airport, which was greatly appreciated. We also loved the convenient setup near the check-in area, where toiletries, coffee, and tea bags were readily available. The complimentary face mask provided in the evening was a thoughtful touch. The hotel’s location is excellent—adjacent to the station and with a 7-Eleven conveniently attached. Getting around was incredibly easy.

Cleanliness and the staff are great! I hope one day, they would provide face moisturizer and alike and free breakfast. We would stay here again someday and look for Via Inn if we will be in other part of Japan. Thanks!

Breakfast was disappointing, buffet did not have many choices for Western travelers. Also Expedia needs to update so of the distances for some of the area attractions, they are far from accurate.
