Excellent staff and excellent location, breakfast cafe right there. The lake is right there with clean water . The only suggestion I have is for the mattress, it needs to be better. Debbie, Magic were great and we enjoyed our stay.

The overall feeling of the place is a nostalgic cabin feeling . I didn’t like how they told us that they don’t clean the rooms at all. For 5 days our room wasn’t cleaned . And if we needed fresh towels we had to remember to leave them outside the night before. Not what I’m use to staying at a hotel. Room service was always available.

Nice queen room. New carpeting. Comfortable bed but needs new pillows. I didn’t like the fact that there was no coffee pot in the room. If there was an elevator I wouldn’t mind so much but walking up the stairs with 2 cups of coffee can be tricky. The air conditioner was a bit noisy but since my husband snores it drowned him out! We can live without maid service but it would have been nice to have. Also the ice maker was broken but they did have some in the office. Nice pool. Overall, nice stay.

Rooms had a cozy cabin feel. That was beat thing about this place. Beach was extremely tiny and absolutely filthy. I would let my dog swim in it.... Pool was nice but small....and they have the most ridiculous rule about the pool I ever heard. Your children cannot enter the pool without TWO ADULTS SUPERVISING. There is also ZERO daily housekeeping! You leave your dirty towels outside and they leave clean ones outside....they do not make your beds or empty pails. Never again.

Older property but we’ll maintained and updated. The private beach was disappointing so we went to the public beach which provided a large beach area. Front desk provided local earring spots which did not disappoint. It was especially hot when we were there but we still had a good experience. We did take the steam boat tour which was nice and informative.

Only minor complaint. No freezer in small fridge. Bed was a bit uncomfortable. Maybe update the bedding. Otherwise. Clean and good bathroom
