Nice place, just a bad week to visit.

We received a phone call on Tuesday confirming our reservation, was asked what time we’d arrive so the room would be ready, which is great, but we arrived and there was a line of dump trucks and excavators tearing up the parking lot. When I walked in, I was asked by the male at the desk if I’d been made aware of the problem, I said No, but it would have been nice. So, apparently they blew a septic line, and it was in the midst of getting repaired, I was told it would be done Wednesday, it wasn’t, it wasn’t done till Friday, so it was really loud for most of the day. The room overall was clean and smelled clean, the only issue was the beds were really uncomfortable, the faucet in the bathroom wasn’t attached to the counter and the exhaust fan was really dirty. When I talked to the lady about the work being done outside she appeared to be annoyed because I wasn’t the only one complaining, we understand emergencies happen, but a heads up would have been nice cause we’d probably have picked a different place to stay.

Very nice resort. Love the safe keyless system into rooms. Very well stocked with coffee and towels. Not walkable into town which is a plus and a minus.

The view from our room was incredible. The room fantastic. The grounds lovely, especially liked the viewing deck, games and kayaks, etc., for the use of resort guests. Would highly recommend.

Kathleen and Juanita take wonderful care of the property and ensure we always feel at home. This was our second stay this year and we look forward to many more. Our kids and their friends enjoy playing in the sand on the cozy beach on the resort. There’s an excellent playground set with swings and slides. And our favorite feature are the complimentary kayak, canoe and wakeboard. This time we travelled with another family. They enjoyed their first stay as much as we did too. Thanks again for the new memories!
