Cheap, run down and uncomfortable

Run down motel using a reputable chains name. Towels, wash rags, pillows and mattress were terrible and uncomfortable, very low/cheap quality. Decor was outdated, broken and not very clean. Very run down place that desperately needs a renovation.

I recently stayed at what was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the place was not impressive in the least. Definitely not the welcoming environment you’d expect when you’re paying for a place to stay. The bed was horribly uncomfortable— the sheets didn’t look fresh and they felt like paper. There was hair in the sheets on top of all that. Definitely not worth the money. I’d rather sleep in my car than return here.

Very disappointed with the care

Well got there and my the room of our floor was very dirty, at first wasn’t a big deal cause never is a hotel room going to be perfect, then noticed one of the outlets had evidence of being shorted out black on the outlets so that was a little concerning but just chose to stay away from that. Went for a hot tub the whole deck of the pool was full of bird poo and looked to have no been cleaned in a couple weeks, went into the hot tub turned it on and in 5 minutes it was so full of foam that you could not sit in it which in hindsight was due to the chemicals not being proper later in the evening I started breaking out into a rash. Fast forward to 10 at night I came back from taking my wife out for dinner and we went to bed we noticed the pillows had quite the smell so tried to call the office but just kept getting the dropped call a couple rings in like when someone pressed ignore on the phone tried calling from my cell phone to the main hotel number and no answer I even texted the text line requesting some pillows and no answer. Went to have breakfast in the morning and they didn’t have any eggs. I went to leave and figured I would explain to the manager everything he at first grabbed a notepad to write something down but didn’t write a single thing I didn’t want any sort of compensation just wanted to politely let them know but they clearly just didn’t care also went to the gas station and found bird poo all over the roof with claw marks

It was close enough to London Bridge to walk. Hot tub was in good condition. The pool looked well maintained.

Unexpectedly dirty

The room was dirty. Toilet had urine on the seat. Tub was not clean. Counter spaces were dirty. The carpet had stains and had bumps in it. There were hairs all over the pillows and mattress cover. Pictures advertised were not the same as actually arriving and seeing this location. I paid for a late checkout and was harassed for several minutes by housekeeping while trying to explain I paid for a late checkout.

My stay at the Day's Inn was good. It's not a luxury motel, but it is completely adequate for my needs. The only items I noted that were missing for an 80-year-old such as myself, were a handrail in the shower and some sort of non-skin rubber mat to place in the bathtub. These two items are not really pertinent for younger people, but would be appreciated by the older, less stable on their feet folks.
